"Special Presentation"
Hardee's Saturday Night Cruise-In
"Adopt A Cop Program"

"Thank You Hardee's"
"For Your Community Involvment"

Bobbie Balch announces that Capt. Steve Neal, Director
of Adopt A Cop of Virginia, will Co-Chair the AAC Program

The Adopt A Cop of Virginia Directors attended the Hardee's Saturday Night Cruise-in on April 21, 2007. This would be a Special Night with Announcements and Presentations concerning the Adopt A Cop Program.

The Cruise-In Lot at Hardee's started to fill up around 4:00 PM. Everyone that attended the Virginia Street Rods Early Bird Rod Run eariler just didn't want to go home. So many just went straight to the Cruise-In. And the lot was full by a little after 6:00 PM. They again came from all over and as far away as North Carolina and Maryland.

This Cruise-In night would be an eventful night. The Adopt A Cop of Virginia Directors had asked that they present several teenage girls with a Certificate of Appreciation for donating their time to serve at the Waffle Breakfast recently. You don't see many young people that have the desire and compassion to want to help make a difference. But, these young Ladies are fine examples of our future leaders in the community.

Bobbie Balch of Adopt A Cop of Virginia and Capt. Steve Neal, Co-Chairman of Adopt A Cop of Virginia and a Chesterfield County Police Officer, recognized these young ladies at the cruise-in and thanked them for their service. Capt. Neal addressed the the crowd, numbering at an estimated 700-800, how much the Adopt A Cop Program meant to the Officers of Chesterfield County and how much he and all of the Officers appreciated the program and each one of the hobbyists that supported the events to raise money to help them. His words were very sincere and all the Officers that were in attendence for this special presentation said it all. To make this event even more special, Mike Zollo, Vice President of Boddie-Noell Enterprises, attended the Cruise-In and talked to the young ladies, the Officers and many of the hobbyists. He has made it known just how much he and the managers of Hardee's appreciated everyone's support in making a difference in the community. . See photos of the presentation below...

Bobbie also thanked Capt. Neal for volunteering his time and years of experience in Law Enforcement and leadership to carry the program to a higher level. Bobbie told everyone that this program was too important to make any mistakes and with Capt. Neal's leadership this wouldn't happen.
