The Hampton Roads Auto Dealers Association Auto Show was a nice break from just setting around on the weekend. It was a real fun event and there were even a few concept vehicles on display. They were drawing so much attention, it was hard to gets photos of all them. By, Chrysler had a real killer sport car that had crowds around it when we were there. And Ford had a Bad Concept Pickup Truck that we manaed to get a couple of quick photos of. The crowd was going wild over it. Check it out below.

The Auto Dealers invited the Virginia Peninsular Car Club Council and the Hampton Roads Car Club Council to join them this year and even gave them a free space. The two (2) councils teamed up with the Hampton Roads Auto Dealers Association and displayed a few of their vehicles and promoted the charity work each is involved in. The big auto show was at the New Virginia Beach Convention Center located next to the Expressway (Rt I-264), as you are going toward the ocean front. They had representatives there to not only discuss all the work of the Car Club Councils and the Adopt A Cop Program, but several car cubs were on hand to help vehicle hobbyists with problems they were having and even how to start their own club. Terry Whiting and Colleen from Australia even stopped by to meet all the hobbyists. They are in the USA as Colleen is teaching some of the local kids through a Special Education Program. Boy, it was great to meet them. You just never know who will attend these events and what you might learn from attending.

We certainly thank the HRADA for inviting the Car Clubs to be a part of this event. We also, thank the VA Beach Police for taking their time to be there and talking to all that stopped by their booth, but especially for talking to all the kids.
